Totally Slacking

So, I know I wrote that I wanted to posted once a week, but then I got hit with a bad flu AND an eye infection. Boo.

Anyway, here's what has been going on. I have been crafting and baking like a mad woman. My niece's first birthday is Sunday and I've been nominated to bake. Also, I have been making necklaces like they were going out of style.

Here are a few of my new favorites. All available in my Etsy Shop.

I <3 Kitchen Aid

My grandparents are seriously awesome people. They went to Macy's the other day and bought me this rockin' Kitchen Aid Mixer in Red.....just like I wanted. They said it was because I would be 25 this August and my dog walking business has taken off like you would not believe.

It was the "we're proud of you" gift. My grandparents rule! I am going to bake a zillion cupcakes using this bad boy!

(they also bought us that super cool popcorn popper in the background)

Poor Puppy

So I don't know if it is karma or if it is just my bad luck. 2 weeks ago my puppy(well, she's 4) went a little crazy in the snowstorm. She wound up waking up and not being able to move. We spent the morning in the vet and they did x-rays and gave us 12 pounds of medicine. Needless to say, she was back to her normal self the next day.

Today, at 3am, a certain little 4 legged girl woke me up by laying on my head. Her left ear was insanely infected so we sat on the living room floor until the vet opened. Well, I was right. Her left ear was incredibly infected as per the vet. SO yet again, we got 12 more pounds of medicine.

February just wasn't her month.....

Need to get on the ball!

So, as you can see, I am not so good at this blogging thing. I think I am going to make the effort to post at LEAST once a week. I enjoying be able to share things with others so what better medium do I have than a blog?

I have been on a major cupcake kick lately. I've been baking, eating, sewing, painting, printing, and doing everything you can with them. I just made these bad boys.

Oooooo

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. It is my favorite holiday of the year and it is a shame we don't get any trick or treaters where we live.

Next week I plan on sharing new projects, as well as listing a lot of new items in my Etsy shop

Keep your eyes peeled because things are going to start getting fun!!

We're Baaaaack

So we are back and it was tons of fun! Between the 2 of us, we took about 1100 pictures. Yikes! We probably bought about every pin they made too! Mom of course had a great time at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Unfortunately, we are now back to reality. I am doing DC Craft Mafia's UNusual Suspects show this weekend in Bethesda, Maryland. If you are in the area, make sure you come say hi!

My Spooky Pals

So I have been a huge fan of Spooky Daddy for some time now. I used to see his awesome monsters on Craftster and wish I could sew like that. Recently, at Craftin Outlaws' in Columbus, Ohio, I had the pleasure of meeting his girlfriend, Spooky Momma.

Needless to say, I didn't move from my booth once because I knew I would buy everything from them! I dropped them an email and told them how awesome they were and wound up getting 2 bunnies with which I took this fancy photo. lol

Anyway, the whole point of this is that you should check out their awesome site and support them because they have an adorable son to feed. :-)
